Eddy current sensors, these sensors allow direct observation of shaft or target displacement for a variety of vibration, displacement, speed and time (e.g. phase) measurements. With a wide range of end diameters and thread sizes to choose from and combine, they have measurement ranges from as small as 200 micro inches (for REBAM measurements) to as large as 1 inch (typically used for differential expansion measurements on large steam turbines), including an 80 meter ear range for most machine measurements.
