SMC CXSM25-40 belongs to the CXS series double rod double action with guide rod cylinder produced by SMC company. The following is its detailed introduction:
Basic parameters
Cylinder diameter: 25mm, which determines the output force of the cylinder. Under the same working pressure, the larger the cylinder diameter, the greater the output force.
Travel: 40mm, which is the distance the piston moves inside the cylinder.
Action mode: Double acting, by alternately inputting compressed air into the two chambers of the cylinder, the piston can move in both directions to complete various work tasks.
Working pressure range: minimum 0.05MPa, maximum 0.7MPa, pressure test pressure 1.05MPa.
Speed: The piston speed is usually between 30-600mm/s and can be controlled by adjusting the intake flow rate.
Fluid usage: Clean and dry compressed air, no additional lubrication required, can prevent oil pollution to the working environment and equipment.
Environment and fluid temperature: -10 ℃ to 60 ℃. Avoid fluid freezing to avoid affecting cylinder performance and lifespan.
Interface specification: M5 × 0.8 pneumatic threaded interface is used, with 2 interfaces for easy connection with gas source and other pneumatic components, ensuring smooth gas flow.
Structural characteristics
Built in magnet: convenient for installing magnetic switches, used to detect piston position, provide position feedback signals for automation control systems, and achieve precise control.
Guidance function: Using sliding bearings for guidance, equipped with guide rods and sliding bearings, effectively preventing the piston rod from swinging or rotating, ensuring the straightness and stability of motion, suitable for high-precision positioning occasions.
Rubber buffer: A rubber buffer device is installed at the end of the stroke to reduce piston impact, lower mechanical wear and noise, and extend cylinder life.
Multi directional installation: It can be installed from 3 directions, and the working components can be installed on 3 surfaces to adapt to different equipment layouts and space limitations.
