The ST5484E Series is an innovative line of 2-wire seismic velocity transmitters that integrates multiple components into a single, rugged package. Each unit combines:
Piezoelectric accelerometer (sensing element)
Signal integrator (converts acceleration to velocity)
RMS/Peak detector (signal processing)
4-20 mA signal conditioner (output generation)
This all-in-one design allows for direct machine mounting on bearing housings or machine cases without requiring any intervening signal conditioning equipment .

Applications

2-pin MIL-spec connector (hermetically sealed, IP67 rated)
Mounting stud sizes vary, and accessories like conduit elbows (8200-001) are available for hazardous area installations .
