The Pepperl+Fuchs Z722 is a compact, single-channel Zener barrier designed for intrinsically safe (IS) applications, providing protection for digital (ON/OFF) signals in hazardous areas (Zone 1/21, Zone 2/22). It ensures safe signal transmission between field devices (e.g., switches, solenoids) and control systems by limiting energy to non-incendive levels.
