HIMA F8650X is a CPU module in the HIMax series. It adopts modular redundant design, has powerful data processing capabilities and high reliability, and is suitable for a variety of industrial automation control systems. The specific introduction is as follows:
Processor architecture: It adopts dual-core Intel 386EX microprocessor, 32 bits, and a main frequency of 25MHz. It supports task-level redundant synchronization, and the switching time is less than 50ms when a single core fails, meeting the IEC 61508 SIL3 certification requirements.
Memory configuration: Each core is equipped with 1MB Flash-EPROM for storing operating systems and user programs, and 1MB SRAM for data storage. It supports hot backup redundancy, and the master-slave CPU data synchronization cycle is less than 10ms.
Communication interface: It has 2 RS-485 serial interfaces, electrical isolation, baud rate 9600/57600bps optional, and supports Modbus RTU/ASCII protocol. The Ethernet expansion interface is reserved, and when paired with the F8627X communication module, it can support the Modbus TCP/IP protocol.
Electrical parameters: 5V DC power supply, peak power consumption 10W, built-in overvoltage/overcurrent protection circuit, operating voltage range 4.75V - 5.25V.
Environmental adaptability: operating temperature is - 20℃ to + 60℃, protection level is IP20, anti-electromagnetic interference level reaches EN 61000-6-2 (level 4), and can withstand 95% humidity and strong vibration environment.
Redundant design: In addition to processor redundancy, the RS-485 interface supports dual-channel hot standby, automatically switching to the backup channel when the main channel fails, and the switching delay is less than 10ms. It also supports dual power input, and the backup power supply takes over seamlessly when the main power supply fails, and the power switching time is less than 1ms.
Software function: built-in safety watchdog, 24V output, 500mA load, the CPU can be automatically reset when the program runs away, and the reset time can be configured within 1-65535ms.
Programming language: supports IEC 61131-3 standard ladder diagram (LD), structured text (ST), function block diagram (FBD), and is compatible with mainstream development environments such as STEP 7 and CODESYS.
I/O expansion capability: can be expanded to 2048 digital input/output points and 512 analog input/output points through the HIMA H51q bus, which can meet the needs of large-scale safety control systems.
Protocol compatibility: supports mainstream industrial protocols such as Modbus, PROFIBUS-DP, CANopen, etc., and can be seamlessly connected with equipment from manufacturers such as Siemens, Schneider, and ABB.
