TRICONEX 3805E is a high-reliability analog output module from Triconex (now part of Invensys Group), designed for industrial automation and safety control systems. The following is a brief introduction:

Product architecture: Based on triple module redundancy (TMR) architecture, three independent sub-circuits perform control tasks in parallel, and data consistency is ensured through a "voting" mechanism, which can maintain uninterrupted operation under hardware failure or transient interference.

Analog output function: Supports 4-20mA current output (overrange up to + 6%), provides 8 independent channels, each channel has high precision, 12-bit resolution, accuracy less than 0.25% FSR, and has a self-calibration function to ensure the stability and accuracy of signal output.


Technical specifications: Each channel can be configured independently and supports voltage/current output mode switching. Isolation between channels and from the system can reduce signal interference. The operating temperature range is 0°C to 60°C, and supports + 42.5V DC continuous voltage protection.

Diagnosis and maintenance: Real-time monitoring of output current and feedback to the module, and verification of signal accuracy through loopback circuit. Fault diagnosis function can detect channel abnormalities, automatically disable faulty channels and trigger alarms, and support online maintenance.

Communication and expansion: The communication interface supports Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet and other protocols, and can be integrated with DCS systems (such as Foxboro, Honeywell) and external hosts. Supports remote I/O modules up to 12 kilometers, and achieves high-speed data synchronization and voting through TriBus bus to ensure the coordination of distributed systems.

Application scenarios: It can be used to adjust parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, etc., and is suitable for production process monitoring in the chemical, petroleum, and power industries. As part of the safety instrument system (SIS), it can ensure the safe operation of key facilities such as nuclear energy, transportation, and energy distribution.
