Samson 4763 is an electric pneumatic positioner produced by Samson of Germany, mainly used for valve positioning control in industrial process control. The following is a related introduction:
Working principle: Receive 4-20mA standard current signal or 1-5mA signal, and convert the electrical signal into pneumatic control signal and output it to the actuator through high-precision mechatronics design, so as to accurately control the opening of the valve and adjust the valve position accuracy to ±0.5% full scale.
Functional features: Support split-range control, and can be used with multiple positioners to achieve wide range adjustment, such as 0-50% and 50-100% segment control. It has excellent environmental adaptability and high temperature resistant design, and can work stably in industrial environments of -40℃ to +85℃. The protection level is IP65, and it has excellent dust and water resistance. In addition, it also has explosion-proof certification EEx ib IIC T6/T4, which can be safely deployed in flammable and explosive hazardous areas. The positioner complies with international standards such as API 670 and ISO 10817-1, and is compatible with mainstream control systems such as DCS/PLC. Its output air pressure range is 0.2–1.0 bar, which is suitable for occasions where the pressure difference between the two ends of the valve is > 1MPa. By increasing the air source pressure to enhance the actuator thrust, the unbalanced force of the medium on the valve core can be overcome. It is also suitable for high-viscosity fluids or media containing suspended solids, as well as high-temperature and toxic media. It can reduce the resistance of the valve stem movement, avoid stagnation, and prevent leakage through a high-sealing design. It can also support DN100–DN400 (or 4”–16”) valves, enhance the actuator thrust, and improve the stability of large flow regulation.
