Siemens CU250S-2 SINAMICS G120 standard inverter

SINAMICS G120 is a modular standard inverter launched by Siemens with the following features:

Modular design: The components are modular, consisting of a control unit, a power module and an optional operating panel, etc., which can be flexibly combined to meet the requirements of the inverter according to different needs.

Wide power range: The power range is from 0.55kW to 250kW, which can meet the drive requirements of various motors with different power.

Various voltage models: Three voltage models are provided, which can be connected to 200V, 400V and 690V power grids to adapt to different power supply environments.

Rich functions: It is a multifunctional system suitable for many different applications, such as conveyors, stacking cranes, continuous processes, single-axis or multi-axis coordinated positioning, etc. It has a variety of control types, such as vector control, FCC (flux current control), etc. A comprehensive safety package is also available, including safety functions such as STO, SS1, SBC, and seamless implementation of safety functions according to SIL 2 (EN 61508) and PL d (EN ISO 13849-1).

Control Unit

CU230P-2: Specially designed for pump, fan and compressor applications.

CU240E-2: Suitable for a wide range of applications such as general machinery manufacturing, such as conveyors, mixers, blenders, etc.

Power module

PM240-2: Protection level IP20, built-in brake chopper (four-quadrant application), suitable for general machinery manufacturing. For example, 6SL3210-1PE21-1UL0 (without line filter) and 6SL3210-1PE21-1AL0 (with line filter), the parameters such as the adapted motor power are different.

PM240: Protection level IP20, similar to the PM240-2 application scenario, but the FSGX size does not have a built-in brake chopper. If braking is required, a plug-in brake module must be configured separately.

PM250: IP20 protection, capable of feeding braking energy directly back to the power supply system (four-quadrant application, no brake chopper required).

Operation panel

Basic operation panel BOP-2: equipped with a two-line screen and menu navigation function, it can display parameters, parameter values and parameter filtering at the same time, can be installed on the control unit and cabinet door, with data cloning function, convenient batch commissioning.

Intelligent operation panel IOP: suitable for control unit version ≤ V4.7 SP6, equipped with a large-size plain text display, menu navigation function and application wizard. Intelligent operation panel IOP-2: suitable for control unit version ≥ V4.7 SP6, it is the most advanced control panel at present, and can query information such as control unit and power unit through QR code.
