Overview

PM240 - 2 is an upgraded version of PM240, with optimized and improved performance and functions. It uses more advanced technology and design, has higher power density and reliability, is suitable for various industrial application scenarios, and can meet the needs of different loads and operating conditions.

Features

Integrated brake chopper: Like PM240, a brake chopper is integrated internally. When the inverter is running in regenerative mode, such as braking a mass body with a large moment of inertia, the brake resistor can be used to consume the excess energy of the DC bus and convert it into heat energy.

High power density: The new PM240 - 2 power module has a smaller frame size under the FSA, FSB and FSC frame sizes, providing high power density in each size. They can be installed directly adjacent to each other without derating, optimizing the space utilization of the control cabinet.

Convenient connection: Plug-in connections on the power side and motor side simplify and shorten commissioning and maintenance time.

Advanced cooling concept: The new hardware platform offers an innovative cooling concept with "push-through" technology, which reduces heat generation in the control cabinet and enables more compact dimensions.

Technical parameters

Voltage range: When the supply voltage is three-phase 380V to 480V, the permissible deviation is + 10% /- 20%, and the frequency range is 47-63Hz; when the supply voltage is three-phase 500V to 690V, the permissible deviation is + 10% /- 20%, and the frequency range is 47-63Hz.

Power range: In case of heavy overload, the power range is from 0.55kW to 110kW; in case of light overload, the power range is from 0.75kW to 132kW. For example, at 380-480V, the heavy overload is 22kW (200% 3s, 150% 57s), and the light overload is 30kW (150% 3s, 110% 57s); at 500-690V, the heavy overload is 75kW (200% 3s, 150% 57s), and the light overload is 90kW (150% 3s, 110% 57s).

Protection level: IP20, suitable for ordinary industrial environments, can prevent objects larger than 12.5mm from intruding.

Dimensions: Different frame sizes correspond to different power levels and sizes, such as the FSF frame size (110kW/132kW) is 305mm wide × 357mm deep × 708mm high (excluding the control unit).
