Functional Features

Display and Operation: It has a high-contrast color display and provides a variety of display options, which can clearly display various parameters, operating status and other information of the inverter. Equipped with a membrane keyboard and a central sensor control area, it is easy and intuitive to operate.

Automatic identification: Connect to the inverter via the RS232 interface and automatically identify various control units in the SINAMICS G120 series, such as CU230P-2, CU240B-2, CU240E-2, CU250S-2, etc.

Debugging function: For drives equipped with SINAMICS firmware 4.7 SP3 or above, new debugging processes such as "Quick Debugging" or "Advanced Debugging" are supported to facilitate the debugging and parameter setting of the inverter.

Hot-swap function: It can be installed or removed when the inverter is powered on, which is convenient for on-site operation and maintenance. However, when the IOP-2 is removed in manual mode, the inverter will stop running. Therefore, before removal, make sure that the IOP-2 is in automatic mode and receives the command source from the PLC.
