AC800M Introduction

AC800M is an important component of Compact Products 800 series products and is a modular controller based on rail installation. It integrates multiple communication functions, can achieve full redundancy, and supports a wide range of I/O signals, including intrinsically safe signals in hazardous areas. It has the following characteristics:

Hardware design: It adopts low energy consumption design, heat dissipation problem is not obvious, and can be installed compactly. In most cases, it can be installed in a closed cabinet without fans, openings, and air filtration equipment, eliminating many potential failure factors and improving reliability.

Performance parameters: The CPU board integrates power supply unit, CPU processor and memory. Supports 12 fieldbus module expansion, integrates 2 Ethernet interfaces and 2 RS232C interfaces, as well as Modulbus electrical and optical fiber expansion interfaces. Supports redundant settings, and the switching time is less than 10ms. Up to 16 tasks, minimum task cycle 1ms, SOE (sequential occurrence of events) resolution less than 1ms.

Communication capability: supports multiple communication protocols, such as MasterBus 300, Comli, Modbus and Siemens 3964R, etc., and can easily communicate with other controllers, automation systems and field devices. It also supports additional serial communication protocols for communication with external devices such as terminals, printers and special controllers.

Programming and configuration: Programming and configuration through Compact Control Builder programming software, code and library files can be reused, making it easier to configure and establish application programs, which can meet various application requirements from basic logic operations to advanced control, from a small number of I/O points to thousands of points, and from local to remote installation.
