SICK DGS80E-T01-2048PPR is one of the DGS80 series incremental encoders. "2048PPR" means that the number of pulses per revolution is 2048, that is, the encoder shaft will output 2048 pulse signals for each rotation. It has the following characteristics:
Resolution: The resolution of 2048PPR can meet some occasions that do not require extremely high measurement accuracy, but have certain requirements for cost and response speed. Compared with the highest 8192ppr resolution of this series, although the accuracy is slightly lower, it can achieve basic position and speed measurement at a lower cost.
Electrical characteristics: Support HTL or TTL output mode, which can be selected according to the specific application scenario and controller requirements. For example, in an environment with high anti-interference requirements, HTL output can be selected; in situations with high signal transmission speed and processing requirements, TTL output can be selected. The power supply voltage range is 5V to 30V, which can adapt to a variety of different power supply systems and is easy to integrate into various control systems.
Mechanical characteristics: There are two aperture versions of 30mm and 42mm, which can be flexibly installed with different mechanical apertures and mechanical parameters through reducing rings and mounting springs. The universal mounting spring allows the installation position to be flexibly adjusted within 360° with a step of 15°, and the clamping ring facilitates the clamping and installation of the encoder shaft. No special coupling or modification of the motor shaft is required, and the installation is convenient.
Environmental adaptability: The housing protection level reaches IP66, which can effectively prevent dust and foreign objects from intruding, and can also withstand a certain degree of water spray. The impact resistance is 50g, 11ms, and the vibration resistance is 20g, 5Hz to 2000Hz. It can work stably in relatively harsh industrial environments and complex mechanical motion environments.
