Working principle

The incremental encoder directly uses the principle of photoelectric conversion to output three sets of square wave pulses A, B and Z phases. The phase difference between the A and B pulses is 90°, which can easily determine the direction of rotation, while the Z phase is one pulse per turn, which is used for reference point positioning.

Electrical characteristics: Adopting HTL (high transistor logic) output mode, the circuit uses two transistors to generate output channels in a totem pole configuration to ensure that the signal is high or low. The output voltage is equal to the power supply voltage when it is valid (on), and the signal is pulled to the power supply common terminal when it is invalid (off). The power supply voltage range is wide, 5-30V, which can adapt to a variety of power supply systems.

Mechanical characteristics: There are two hollow shaft aperture versions of 30mm and 42mm, which can be flexibly installed with different mechanical apertures and parameters through reducing rings and mounting springs. The slotted design of the universal mounting spring allows the mounting position to be adjusted in 15° steps within 360°. The clamping ring facilitates the clamping of the encoder shaft, making installation easy.

Resolution: Supports up to 8192ppr resolution, can accurately measure the position and speed changes of the rotating shaft, and provide high-precision feedback information for the control system.

Environmental adaptability: The enclosure protection level reaches IP65, which can prevent dust, prevent foreign objects from intruding, and resist a certain degree of water spray. The operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C, which can adapt to a variety of industrial environments.
