Baumer HMG10-B-Profibus DP is an absolute heavy-duty encoder based on the Profibus DP interface in the HMG10 series of Baumer. It has the following features:

High-precision measurement: Using advanced magnetic induction technology, the single-turn and multi-turn resolution can reach 20 bits, and the total resolution can reach 40 bits, which can provide high-precision position measurement signals.

Energy harvesting technology: Using the patented "MicroGen" energy harvesting technology, multi-turn sensing does not require batteries and gears, and directly obtains energy from the encoder shaft movement, ensuring long-term stable operation and reducing maintenance costs.

Sturdy mechanical structure: The double-sided hybrid bearing system can withstand high axial and radial loads and adapt to changes in shaft loads. The housing is made of corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy or stainless steel, and according to EN ISO 12944 standard, it provides corrosion protection for C4 or C5-M corrosion environments.

Wide operating temperature range: The operating temperature is - 40℃ to + 100℃, and the performance is stable under extreme temperatures.

High protection level: Labyrinth seal and shaft seal combination, IP66 and IP67 protection levels in a wide temperature range, effectively preventing dust, moisture and sticky dirt from invading.

Multiple signal outputs: In addition to outputting absolute position information through the Profibus DP interface, square wave TTL/HTL, TTL/RS422 incremental signals can also be output simultaneously for speed measurement or auxiliary position signals. Some models are equipped with speed switches, which can provide limit speed information through switch output.

Multiple installation methods: Supports hollow shaft (through hole or blind hole), tapered hole design, and solid shaft design with optional European flange B10, which is convenient for installation on different devices.

Function display: LED is used for function display, which is convenient for users to understand the working status of the encoder.

Strong anti-interference ability: It adopts anti-interference design, complies with EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-3 standards, and can work stably in complex electromagnetic environments.
