Baumer HMG10-B-Profinet is an absolute heavy-duty encoder based on the Profinet interface in the HMG10 series of Baumer. It has the following features:
High-precision measurement: Using advanced magnetic induction technology, the single-turn and multi-turn resolution can reach 20 bits, and the total resolution can reach 40 bits, which can provide high-precision position measurement signals to meet various high-precision application requirements.
Energy harvesting technology: Using the patented "MicroGen" energy harvesting technology, multi-turn sensing does not require batteries and gears, and directly obtains energy from the movement of the encoder shaft, ensuring long-term stable operation and reducing maintenance costs.
Sturdy mechanical structure: Equipped with a double-sided hybrid bearing system, it can withstand high axial and radial loads and can adapt to changes in shaft loads. It adopts corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy or stainless steel housing, and provides corrosion protection for C4 or C5-M corrosion environments according to EN ISO 12944 standards.
Wide operating temperature range: The operating temperature range is - 40℃ to + 100℃, and it can still maintain stable performance under extreme temperature conditions.
High protection level: The advanced labyrinth seal and shaft seal combination ensures IP66 and IP67 protection levels over a wide temperature range, effectively preventing dust, moisture and sticky dirt from invading.
Multiple signal outputs: In addition to outputting absolute position information through the Profinet interface, it can also output square wave TTL/HTL, TTL/RS422 incremental signals for speed measurement or as auxiliary position signals. Some models also have speed switches that can provide limit speed information through switch output.
Multiple installation methods: It supports hollow shaft design (through hole or blind hole), tapered hole design, and solid shaft design with optional European flange B10, which is easy to install on different equipment.
Adapt to a variety of application scenarios: Due to its excellent performance and sturdy structure, it is suitable for heavy industrial fields such as metallurgy, port machinery, wind power, mining, and automated production lines, robots and other equipment with high requirements for encoder reliability and accuracy. It is used to measure the absolute angular position of various shafts such as motor rotor shafts and cable drums, providing key position information for precise control and positioning of equipment.
Function display: LED is used for function display, which is convenient for users to understand the working status of the encoder.
Drag chain application capability: It has drag chain application capability and is suitable for equipment that needs to be frequently moved, such as robots. It can move flexibly within the range of ±180°/m, and its cable has good chemical resistance, flame retardancy and oil resistance.
Strong anti-interference ability: It adopts anti-interference design, complies with EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-3 standards, and can work stably in complex electromagnetic environments.
