Dynisco TPT463E Standard melt pressure sensors

Measurement principle: Based on the Wheatstone bridge principle, the strain gauge inside the sensor is deformed by pressure, resulting in a change in resistance value, and then the pressure signal is converted into an electrical signal output.

Product features:

High precision: The accuracy is usually better than ±0.5%, and some models such as PT420A can reach ±0.25%, which can provide accurate pressure data for the production process.

Good stability: The diaphragm is field-proven, and the diaphragm is protected by the patented DyMax coating to provide wear and corrosion resistance. It can maintain good stability and repeatability in harsh environments and reduce measurement errors.

Main models and features:

PT460E standard type: It is a rigid rod structure, suitable for general melt pressure measurement in the polymerization industry, and is easy to install. The accuracy is better than ±0.5% FS, 3.33mV/V full scale output, and the pressure range is 0-500PSI to 0-30,000PSI.

PT462E standard type: There is an 18-inch flexible tube between the rigid tube and the strain gauge housing to increase thermal isolation, facilitate installation, and is economical and practical. It is widely used by OEM manufacturers. Its performance parameters such as accuracy are similar to those of PT460E.

TPT463E Standard: Integrates PT462E with a removable J-type thermocouple to measure pressure and temperature at the same measuring point, with flexible tube, RTD and other thermocouples optional.

PT460XL Thick Film: The sensing element is an Inconel thick film with excellent thermal stability, with a 6-inch long rigid rod, suitable for environments with large wear or rough media.
