ASCO's General Purpose solenoid valve series are widely used to meet a variety of different industrial application scenarios and media control needs. The following is an introduction to some general purpose solenoid valve series and models:
ASCO 8210 Series (210 Series):
Introduction: It is a normally closed, two-way, two-position valve. It is an economical, high-flow general-purpose solenoid valve suitable for liquid, corrosive and air/inert gas conditions.
Features: Brass/stainless steel body, IP65 protection level; diameter range 1/8"-1" (DN6 - DN25); a variety of pressure levels, sizes and elastic material options, long service life and low internal leakage. Lead-free versions are available, and low-temperature models can control low-temperature fluids and can also be used specifically for hot water conditions.
Applications: Air compressor control, water treatment systems, packaging machinery, car wash equipment, pumps, laundry equipment and industrial water control.
Introduction: Three-position, five-way valve, dual solenoid drive, support center exhaust function.
Features: G1/8"-G1/2" ports, anodized aluminum, brass and stainless steel bodies with ¼" NPT and BSP connections. Unique design combines hard T-rings and flexible O-rings to provide airtight shutoff, dust protection and reliability for millions of cycles.
Applications: Industrial robot end effectors, automated production line pneumatic controls, suitable for harsh conditions in chemical, refining, food and beverage applications and life science processing.
Introduction: Direct-acting, general-purpose solenoid valves for pilot flow control of small control valves and their actuators.
Features: Only one set of springs and two sets of moving parts inside the valve body, ideal for pilot control as a basic two-position, three-way solenoid valve.
Applications: Analytical and diagnostic equipment, automotive, bottling systems, dust removal systems and life science applications.
Introduction: A high-flow general-purpose solenoid valve series that can be used to pilot large actuators and quickly close large control valves.
Features: Diaphragm poppet valve design suitable for controlling air, inert gases and liquids, with resilient seats for tight shutoff.
Introduction: General purpose solenoid valve designed for a wide range of applications.
Features: Direct acting valve suitable for wide voltage range, harsh environments, direct mounting, trickle flow control and long life structure.
Applications: Analytical and diagnostic equipment, dust collector systems, life sciences, newsrooms and metal stamping.
Introduction: Controls water, air, inert gases, steam and non-corrosive fluids, available in normally closed, normally open or general purpose versions, as well as proportional control and latching versions.
Features: Direct acting solenoid valve with brass body and small size suitable for shutting off liquid and gaseous fluids.
Introduction: Controls water, air, inert gases, steam and non-corrosive fluids, available in normally closed, normally open or general purpose versions, as well as proportional control and latching versions. Features: Direct acting solenoid valve, valve body made of glass fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide, suitable for low pressure steam and autoclave applications.
ASCO 003 Series (8003 Series):
Solenoid Coil: Red Cap II molded epoxy solenoid coils are available in four standard wattages with AC or DC power options.Protection Type: Standard operator models are Red Cap II waterproof models, including models 1, 2, 3, 3s, 4, and 4x. Explosion-proof and waterproof models are also available, including models 3, 3s, 4, 4x, 6, 6p, 7, and 9. Temperature Range: Rated ambient temperature range is 32°F to 125°F AC and 32°F to 104°F DC.
The ASCO 256 series General Purpose solenoid valves are compact, direct - acting valves designed for versatile fluid control applications, handling various media such as air, water, and oil. With features like easy - to - maintain designs and multiple third - party certifications, they are ideal for both industrial and commercial use, ensuring reliable performance across different operating conditions.
