SAMSON 3730-X is an intelligent electric valve positioner launched by SAMSON, belonging to the 3730 series. This positioner is suitable for industries such as petroleum, electricity, metallurgy, papermaking, water treatment, etc., and can be used with linear or rotary actuators. The relevant introduction is as follows:

Input signal: supports 4-20mA analog signal input, and can also select digital signal communication protocols such as Hart, PA, and FF.

Installation method: Split installation is adopted, the valve position sensor and the positioner are separated, the standard cable length is 10m, and it is equipped with an M12 metric plug. The protection level of the positioner is IP66, and the protection level of the sensor is IP67.

Performance characteristics: It has a self-tuning function and can be started by pressing the INIT button. The valve position sensor (potentiometer) has a self-diagnosis function. If the potentiometer is damaged, it will automatically convert to direct drive (I/P open-loop control), and the output is a reliable output after considering factors such as friction. The maximum vibration resistance is 10g, the vibration frequency is 5 to 2000Hz, and the ambient temperature adaptability range is - 60°C to 105°C.

Debugging method: Supports a simple three-step debugging method, including installation, selection of air open or air close and air volume, and initialization. There are many initialization methods, such as Init MAX based on maximum stroke, Init NOM based on working stroke range, Init MAN based on manual selection range, and Init SUB in emergency mode.

Additional functions: It has a fault alarm output function, which is output in a simplified manner. It is also equipped with 2 software valve position switches, which can provide free full-function valve diagnosis.
